Dr. Sarah Hunter Murray has dedicated over a decade of her academic and professional career to understanding the complexities and nuances of sexual desire.
Dr. Murray is regularly consulted as a sex expert for various news and media outlets including Psychology Today, where she writes a blog series entitled “Myths of Desire: Rethinking Sex Roles and Expectations that Stifle Relationships.” She has been interviewed for Men’s Health, Fashion Magazine and Today’s Parent and her research has been featured in LiveScience, Mic.com and The Globe and Mail.
Sarah is a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS). As a practicing relationship therapist under the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), she specializes in working with individuals and couples around sexual intimacy concerns.
